steven100 32662
This is good news and hopefully Poland, Netherlands and others follow suit and send heavy artillary such as more tanks and missile launchers. Also, found this clip showing Ukraine military in action killing a group of Wagner mercanaries. ht https://twitter.com/IAPonomarenko/status/1613161627494260738 Edited January 14 by steven100

kickstart 3585
Britain has not yet officially confirmed the number of tanks it will be sending to Ukraine, but it’s believed to be about a dozen Challenger 2’s. The decision could be significant, but only if other Western nations follow. On its own it’s unlikely to make a big difference in the war. Ukraine says it needs hundreds more tanks and armoured vehicles to retake the territories still held by Russia The Challenger, built in the late 1990s, was originally designed to face Russian armour. But it's rifled barrel means it uses different ammunition to NATO countries. From the BBC websight .

I think the war is at a very critical stage now as Putin is ramping up some 2 million reservists to mobilize onto the front lines to attempt to take back larger areas of Ukraine's east and south. The west and especially the US realize this and I think more and more heavy military equipment will follow as quickly as possible. This war will just keep dragging on as that's what Putin want's ..... the only way to end this is for someone or some special force to take Putin out. imo .... then they would most likely all go home in a running retreat. JonnyF 29843
Hopefully EU nations do the same. Or maybe the unelected technocrats are still checking their tanks pass Euro5 emissions tests and have all the regulatory checks and import documentation in place to ensure the integrity of their single market? Bizarre tangent. Are you OK?

Let’s hope that this will (if I may) kick start the process and start leopard tanks and abrams tanks on their way in time for the spring orc hunting season!
