Siam Rath went to investigate after a spate of vehicle wheel thefts hit an area of Muang Thong Thani housing estate in Nonthaburi.

Wheels had been stolen from motorcycles and cars, sometimes one sometimes two from the bikes, sometimes all four on a car.

This had occurred over a two night period in the area of two blocks P1 and P2.

The thieves had chosen vehicles parked in darkened areas out of CCTV coverage.

There must have been two and they acted fast.

Women in the area were being careful how they dressed and not wearing jewelry after the incidents freaked out the locals.

Residents called on the Pak Kret police to get busy with their investigation into the thefts.
