The death toll following yesterday's oil tanker explosion at samut songkran reached two with 4 people injured….
The investigation continues into the cause of the explosion.

 

Two out of six defendants sentenced in connection with the death of a model in 2019 have been acquitted. 
The court accepted the Two were guests at a party and they were unaware how the model who became intoxicated was moved from the party, 
She was later found dead on a sofa.
Four others were sentenced to between 5 and 8 years in prison. 
 
TrialWatch, an arm of the Clooney Foundation for Justice has urged Thailand to drop its action against 22 activists charged with insulting  the monarchy and several public order offenses,

Trialwatch has been monitoring proceedings against protest leaders who could face between 7 and 15 years in jail if convicted. It made several recommendations to ensure Thailand adheres to international obligations on Civil and Political Rights. 

 

New rules go into effect today to regulate wording and phrases used in advertising, such as “The Best, ‘The only one in town”,or  ‘The finest’, when in fact similar statements may not be factually correct.

The new rules apply to text, graphics and truthfulness used with all visual and audio media.
