Chanthaburi: Speedboat racing 29 January and 5 March 2023

Racing on Sunday 29 January and Sunday 5 March 2023 in Chanthaburi province.

In previous years there's been up to six boats per race, on a long oval course as opposed to what I've also seen which is straight-out two boat drag racing.

Location - near Khlong Khud (Khut) which is between Tha Mai and the coast at Chao Lao; 24km from Chanthaburi city, or about 10km from turnoff on Sukhumvit Rd.

Searched Ko Mong on maps and nothing. I know klong Khud but cant think of a place in the area they would do this. Can you post a map location?

From Sunday at Khamong, Khlong Khut, Chanthaburi

A nice social day in the sun, enjoyed it. Next races are on the other side of the road, a little further along at Wat Kamong on 5 March.
