Police and rescue services were called after two students from the Samut Prakan College of Commerce and Technology were shot by students of a rival college in the Pak Nam area.

The Samut Prakan students had been out advertising their founders' day sticking bills on overpasses and lampposts when they were ambushed, reported Thai Rath

Aphirak, 18, was shot in the right arm while Wachirayan, 22, was shot in both legs.

They were taken to Samut Prakan Hospital.

Police recovered six .38 shell casings, a loaded pen gun and evidence of six ping-pong explosive devices having been thrown.

Aphirak said they were attacked by around 20 students on motorbikes who he thought came from the Bangkok College of Technology.

In the confusion they had tried to run for their lives and only had stones to hurl back in defense.

Police are investigating with the help of teachers at the tech colleges.

New Zealand is having lot troubles with under 16 kids doing ram raids. All that happens to them is a talk too and no legal record can be kept.We are now to soft on young kids allowing to become seasoned criminals before becoming adults and getting a record.  Bring back the cat and 9 tails whip. Just a couple of lashes first time should hopefully change them.
