Central Festival - Another type of parking space.

We all know about the various different parking areas in Central, limiting use to specific groups; VIP, Exclusive, Family, Pets, Women, Supercars, Superbikes etc. I might have missed one or two.

Well on a visit on Saturday, I noticed a new one. It seems they are building an EV charging station parking area.

Pretty soon I will have to buy an electric Ferrari, take the girlfriend, daughter, and the dog when I go shopping. Just to get a chance of parking.

What next? Ladyboy parking?

Oh noes. The dreaded EV curse is spreading like a virus. Pretty soon there will be nowhere to park our gas guzzlers.

Farang parking...5x the price and about five kilometers away!

Where's the one for 'pets' and is it air conditioned ?

EV parking ... hmm, you just now noticed it.  Great marketing ploy, and some vendors even offer 'free' charging.  Assuming there is a CS, and hopefully people are actually using, and not just parking to be closer.

No different from the reserved parking slots for the 'car wash'.

The harder they make it for "mere mortals" to park, the less likely those mortals are to use those shops. What happened to the UK High Street is a perfect example.

I used to go to Central at least once or twice a week. Now I go maybe once every couple of months.

So there's nowhere to rest if you  go via Shanks' Pony?

Central is not made for "mere mortals", it's made for loaded Thais and ditto tourists...:whistling:

Worth going to TOPS for supplies though. Waitrose brand and very good quality.

A bit more expensive than the other supermarkets but well worth it.

I highly recommend the marinated pork chops - with the spicy marinade. ????
