The Phuket Tourist Police told the Phuket Express that on Sunday (January 29th) at about 7:30 P.M. Mr. Edward Freitas, 29, American national, got in a taxi in Phuket Old Town before getting off at the Bang Naew Intersection in Phuket Town. Mr. Freitas forgot his bag which had his passport and various cards in the taxi. He could not remember the taxi number plate. I'm happy to see reports like this in a newspaper. It is a nice change rather than biased opinions or reports of crime. It was probably a slow news day and space in the page needed to be filled.
