Seven meter long whale shark delights dive trip tourists off Rayong coast

Thai Rath reported that they were alerted by staff of The Toy Tour who had taken tourists on a dive trip to see corals 13 nautical miles off the Rayong coast in Klaeng district.

 

In an area known as Hin Ploeng a seven meter whale shark was circling for 4-5 hours delighting divers.

 

The media said such sightings occur in January and February of each year in the area off Ao Makham Pom bay.

What beautiful creatures they are. I had the pleasure of diving with a group of Whale sharks in the gulf of Thailand several times, such an honour.
