The latest info on the death of 17 year old Duangpetch 'Dom' Phromthep in the UK yesterday morning, a feature on the drive to legalise prostitution in Thailand, buy your own Thai island in the Andaman Sea, free condom vending machines, Anutin's new Thai 'war on drugs' - is it a knee-jerk reaction? The revival of single-use plastic bag use in Thailand.

A tragedy for this young man's parents and friends, pursuing his dream, but a head injury most likely caused by heading, a common aspect of english football. Sadly many with less a profile, suffer similar, and due to no reason being given, most doctors would argue the impact on the frontal area of the head, and associated damage, the most probable cause of Dom's death. Time will tell. Sport of any kind carries it's risks. RIP.
