Daily News Thai Caption: Here come the numbers!

 

Daily News reported from a parking lot in central Bangkok where a tree known as the Devil Tree fell on three police vehicles.

 

It happened at the Royal Thai Police headquarters off Rama 1 in Pathumwan, central Bangkok.

Yesterday was a blustery one for the Thai capital with unseasonally heavy rains and high winds.

This afternoon sees the twice monthly drawing of the state lottery.

Daily News were speculating in the story about which of the numbers might be drawn.

 

Such events are seen as portents and they reported a long line of people inquiring about the numbers and scurrying off to buy the requisite tickets.

Of course, if the BiB were out catching law-breakers the tree would have missed the vehicles.

For these 'lucky' number events that are regularly reported on, why do we never see a follow up story to tell us how many millions these portents have brought in?

More like "Got What Came To You Tree".

but which one's plate will rake in the lottery millions - draw out this afternoon!!

 

none of them you clowns. 

Well none of their numbers won the jackpot.

They were probably trumped by someone who got the numbers off some cobra eggs that they found under the seat of Uncle Lek's old tuk-tuk
