The family of the 17-year-old former captain of a Thai junior football team that was rescued from a flooded cave in 2018 – has appealed for help for his body to be returned to Thailand following the teenager’s death in the United Kingdom.

 

A teacher found Duang-petch unconscious in his dorm on Sunday, and the boy was taken to hospital where he passed away.. The youngster had won a scholarship last year to play football in the U.K.


The boys mother said her family has little money and appealed for her son's body to be returned home.
His Family and members of the 13 Wild Boars performed a merit-making ceremony for him yesterday at a temple in Chaing Rai.

 

A monk who visited an Islamic education center in Narathiwat on Sunday has been criticized by many in the Muslim community in the south.


Disapproval was also shown in parliament, however the monk and several soldiers said the visit was aimed at improving relations in the area which has seen years of violence.

 

A team of police and military arrested Thirteen men from Myanmar near the border with Malaysia yesterday.
The group had apparently entered Thailand in Prachuap khiri khan then headed south, where they were about to cross into Malaysia.

The object was seen falling from the sky, Taiwan's military then found the remnants of the balloon on a shooting range.

 

Indonesia
At least 69 Rohingya refugees, many of them women and children, landed on Indonesia's west coast of BANDA ACEH yesterday. one passenger said some on board died during the 2 week voyage from Bangladesh.
