Trumpworld Launches Bonkers New Attack on DeSantis

May be an image of 1 person, standing and text that says 'GOD TRUST GOVERNOR RON DESANTIS FRAMEWORK FOR FREEDOM FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024'

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hasn’t announced a bid for the White House to challenge former President Donald Trump in 2024. But that hasn’t stopped Trump and his most loyal online supporters from tossing just about anything against the wall to see what sticks.

A year and a half out from the election, Trumpworld’s newest line of attack: Painting DeSantis as a “globalist” who is “endorsed” by liberal philanthropist George Soros.

The origin of the freshly minted Trumpworld attack began to percolate late last week after Soros spoke Thursday at the international Munich Security Conference.

That is great news.

Trump will do his best to destroy all possible other presidential candidates from the GOP.

And then the American voters have no acceptable conservative candidate, and they will vote for the others. Great!

And maybe then, maybe, the GOP will slowly wake up and ask themselves what they did wrong over the last years.

Yeah, think about that real hard!

Has 'Trumpworld' been anything else but bonkers?

Of course, Soros never "endorsed" DeSantis.  But the mud slinging within the GOP will be entertaining to watch.  Can't wait for the Republican primaries to start.  Especially if Trump gets back on Twitter....:-)

It’s not ‘bonkers’, the ‘Sorus slur’ is an extreme rightwing dog whistle.

Trump’s attack is precisely targeted for his audience.

It's pretty clear that Trump doesn't respect his base.  Why else would he endlessly lie to them?  Either that or he thinks they're incredibly stupid and would believe every word he says.

There's no lie too outrageous for the qanon to to believe. Notice that none of the usual suspects have come out to support this delusion?

Quelle surprise, it is after all their de facto response to anything that is not slavish posterior kissing of trump.

They must be having competitions at Mar a Lago to find the nuttiest conspiracy theory to promote. They probably realise that anything half sane won't cut it.

After those NFT cards [or whatever those top trumps/pokemon like things were] sold out last year, I can't see anything his base won't buy.

Cash cow zombies with no ability to see through trump's b.s.

In June it'll be 8 years since The Orange Dawn and he still is at 35%.

People camped out at Dealey Plaza awaiting the resurrection of JFK Jr, and possibly his father.  On a bonkers scale of 1 to 10 this one gets a 12.  They think he has been sent by god, and whatever comes up against him they'll defend him like a good-for-nothing son.  And send him $$$ -- IMO just that, anyone who has to punch a timeclock to make their living that gives their money to a (alleged) billionaire is indeed a sorry case.  If you've been watching news about the Ohio train wreck check out the people who live in that town, they are big-time supporters.

As one veteran journalist puts it, it used to be a politician caught in a lie was a scandal, then somewhere around the year 2000 it became a scandal was something that came about when a politician told the truth.  His comments on his believers are pretty funny, like how he hates to shake hands with "all those disgusting people,"  his disappointment with the 1/6 seditionists who "looked like slobs," and the hits just keep on comin'.
