Ivanka Trump, the daughter of former President Donald Trump, and her husband Jared Kushner have been subpoenaed by special counsel Jack Smith, ABC News has learned.

The subpoena for the couple is specifically related to the special counsel's probe of Jan. 6 and the activities leading up to that day by the former president and his allies regarding efforts to overturn the 2020 election, sources told ABC News.

Ivanka Trump and Kushner worked as senior White House advisers to President Trump during his four years in office.

Anything which makes it easier to vote and increases the number of votes cast is a good thing. Democracy is made strong when more people vote. Precisely why in my country it's mandatory to vote.

There are vanishingly few examples of that happening and when they do it's mostly republicans who do it. There's no argument for suppressing voting rights or making it harder to vote there. Mail in votes are checked against the role exactly the same as votes in person are. As are their signatures.

The record turnout was from patriotic Americans voting and  trying to save the country from a wanna-be dictator who was already plotting ways to remain in office after he lost. Five states have had 100% voting by mail dating back to 2002 with zero evidence of voter fraud. There is no evidence to support that voting by mail favors one party over the other but that doesn’t stop RWNJ media from promulgating lies about it. Trump lost because he was unpopular and he received fewer votes from Republicans because they now had four years to see what a poor choice he was in 2016.
