Piano Sheet Music

Featured Replies

Hi there forum-ies

I'm looking at things to take to thailand and things to leave behnd . . .

I have two 3 foot piles of piano sheet music

is it easily available in thailand or should i ship?

many thanks in anticipation!

David

You could scan it and store it on CD.

It's what I do with my reference books, which I'm sure I'd never find in LOS.

Answer to your question. Not a lot of sheet music in Thailand. I wish (now) that I'd brought more of the sheets I had back home - it's pretty impossible to get anything much here.

I brought quite a bit with me and glad that I did.

I have found some here, but very expensive and a limited choice. However I must admit I haven't looked that hard.

I advise you to ship it.

BTW I suppose you know that almost any classical sheet music can be downloaded from the internet?

yes, but i do have it already, and a scanner . . . it just sems wrong to cut a book of music to bits

to get it in to the scanner.

Shame as a music arranger/typesetter there's little of the 20,000 odd files of music on my computer

that i actually want!

ho hum . . . . where's my guillotine!

If you got any easy "oldies but goldies" sheet music you'd like to share/give away. I'd be only too happy to receive it - can't get anything at all over here :D:o:D
