Popular Post koolkarl Posted March 1, 2023 Popular Post Posted March 1, 2023 It is incredible that the Thai people do not seriously complain about this deadly problem that occurs year after year. The politicians do nothing and maybe they will if a few get lung cancer soon. If it was a covid outbreak, they would lock the country down yet this air pollution is far more serious. There must be an incredible amount of burning to create such smog for ages already. Then throw in the southerly winds from China. 1 2
Dljohnt Posted March 2, 2023 Posted March 2, 2023 148 microns pm2.5 in the rice fields north of Chiang Mai for the past 3 days already. US AQI last 3 days 186 to 205 and rising. Only the UV index of very high doesn't seem right, the sun is hardly pusing through the smog. 1
