AN AMERICAN tourist, who was handcuffed and hit in the face by a pub guard just over a week ago has filed  an application to prosecute the owner and the guard who attacked him,


Mr. Carkhuf    had mistakenly taken a bottle of water which he thought was free and was then detained and allegedly threatened with a knife and assaulted by the bar manager.

 

THE OWNER of a garage in Udon Thani set his saloon car on fire yesterday,


58 year old Mr Panya, 58, told the police  he bought his car some time ago and was fed up with a constant series of problems and breakdowns.


He said he felt happier having set fire to his car and burning away the problems.  The fire service too 20 minutes to extinguish the flames. 


A study by the department of health claims some 10 percent of Thai kids are obese! It adds the numbers are likely to increase unless parents and schools take action to improve diets and encourage exercise.


The world obesity federation says rates of childhood obesity are expected to double by 2035.

 

Prime Minister Prayut is being treated in Hospital for a swollen wrist, 


The cause is thought to be from a lymph node, the PM is undergoing tests and is  expected to be discharged in the next day or two.
