Social security income would count as income but must you actually be drawing it or can you state it as income when over 62+?? Would like to apply for her IR1 few years before I'd draw is the idea. Anyway, I thought about this a bit deeper and it's impossible because USCIS would not be able to verify the amount even if it were allowed. Sorry to have troubled you. You can use last years tax return or use fixed assets such as houses or cars to meet the requirement.
