A JEALOUS soldier attacked motorcycle taxi riders parked in front of his girlfriend’s milk shop in Rat Burana area with a sickle and two ping-pong bombs slightly injuring four of them, Amarin TV said.

 

At 4.30 p.m. yesterday Pol. Capt. Wisarut Thathong, a deputy inspector at Rat Burana station, was alerted of youths attacking each other with ping-pong bombs at the entrance of Soi Pracha Uthit 45 and rushed there with a team to investigate.

 

At a courtyard filled with shops and stalls they found four food delivery riders slightly wounded on their arms and body with shrapnel from a ping-pong bomb and they were all taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Ping pong bombs? Why not frag grenades soldier?

I sometimes think that Thailand is one of the most dangerous places in the world outside of a war zone. Plenty of people carrying guns, many of them mentally unstable and with fragile egos in a country where many have little or no self-control or sense of proportion. People are killed over 100 baht to save face, or because of a 'wrong' look.

 

And yes, I know other countries have violence too, including knife crime in my native UK. There, it's largely confined to a certain ethnic group. In Thailand it largely involves the male population.

The peple who have to defend the country act like this??? What did they learn in the army? or is a lack of brains
