A meeting was held on Walking Street this evening, March 14th, 2023 between Pattaya City Police, City Hall officials, and business owners.

 

The city is planning to reduce the number of motorcycle taxi drivers in the actual street and move them to nearby areas, citing complaints of too many still driving in pedestrian areas.

 

Garbage trucks will also collect garbage nightly at 3am and cooperation is expected with business owners.

That is normal in Thailand.. On every market street or pavement you find people on motorcycles, bikes and cars driving in the walking shopping people... But in a country with no enforcement of laws you can't expect anything else

isn't bar owners asking for later closing times obligatory at these meeting?
