Actor Kills Garbage Collector In Car Crash

Officer charged with drunken knife attack

A deputy police inspector has been charged with assaulting garbage collectors while drunk. Pol Capt Wutthichai Pakkangwesang, of Huay Kwang police, faces counts of assaulting, insulting and obstructing officers performing their duties, carrying a knife to attack others and being drunk causing chaos. The charges follow a complaint yesterday by Somsak Seedee, a garbage collector attached to Huay Kwang district office, that Pol Capt Wutthichai assaulted him and his co-workers.

Mr Somsak said he and three other garbage collectors were working on Soi 20 Mituna in Huay Kwang at around 6am yesterday. He alleged Pol Capt Wutthichai, who appeared to be intoxicated, got out of his car and accused them of causing traffic congestion. He said the officer then started a quarrel and physically attacked them before pulling out a knife to chase the garbage collectors, who ran to a 191 Police Unit to seek assistance. Pol Capt Wutthichai was later taken to Sutthisarn police station. Police said he verbally abused them and tried to resist arrest.

Maybe. ;) Its a satisfyingly derogatory word that evades the censor on most forums. For now... :D Please feel free to use it at your leisure.

Tut tut. Civil servants do not get demoted or punished, they are 'transferred'

The garbage collectors where I live can be really annoying. They like to park so that no one can get around them, even though it isn't necessary. They also make a lot of unnecessary noise at some very odd hours. In spite of this, I would rather see them around that have them not come around. It's a pretty thankless job.

As for the police--I don't see them do much good anywhere.

I vote for the garbage man and just think how bad our service would be if the police started doing their job!
