Photo: Matichon By Thai Newsroom Reporters PALANG PRACHARATH treasurer Naruemon Pinyosinwat today (Mar.24) staged a quiet protest by declining to contest the May 14 general election in party-listed mode. Naruemon was dissatisfied with the Palang Pracharath electoral candidacy committee for not naming her among the top 10 party-listed candidates vying for MP in the nationwide election, a partisan source said. In the 2019 election, Naruemon was ranked No.5 on the Palang Pracharath party list of 150 candidates, 18 of whom were elected as MP, but this time she was ranked No.20 among a total of 100 party-listed contestants vying in the May 14 election, thus excusing herself from running at all, the source said.
