The Baht 63 To 1 Gbp?

Just thought I`d check what the local rates are, I use always use XE website for my exchange rates. It stated as follows:

1 GBP = 63.5569 THB

1 EUR = 43.0139 THB

1 USD = 31.5768 THB

Which has got me a little worried seeing as that will be as low as its been for years!

BUT! checking on Thai Visa's exchange rate

GBP Pound Sterling 69.056 THB

EUR Euro 46.9065 THB

USD United States Dollar 34.4887 THB

So which one is correct? hope its the Thai Visa

I agree,Thai Visa is based on rates within Thailand,XE is based on internet rate buying in US or Europe

It is, the onshore rate (if you get the money changed in LOS or via Nationwide card at a thai ATM) is the Thai Visa one, the offshore rate (if you change money into baht in a foreign country) is the XE website.

today change 100 pound at the bank of ayudaya got 67.85 b ......

My Forex conversion table has been at 64 - 65 Baht for a few weeks now, but I hadn't checked.

So the rate has not changed much over the past couple of weeks - just depends which conversion table you use.

Always have baht exchanged at the Thai end when transferring from UK no matter what some cheating banker may tell you
