Chomper Higgot
A re-hash of Gilbert and Sullivan’s, sorry, Thatcher’s ‘Short, Sharp Shock’. It didn’t work in the 80s when there were Police Officers out and about in communities and it won’t work now. 1 1
stratocaster
Talk is cheap. Who will be supervising the clean up projects? The police? The probation service? Maybe hire some pensioners to get them back into the job market, which this government seems to think is the way to UK prosperity. The probation service have 14,670 vacancies in the youth justice division as of yesterday. And before you hear an MP gaslighting that the government has increased probation officers in 2022 by 7000, this is officers who were transferred from the private sector but government funded division. So no overall increase.
