Just looking on Lazada for a mini PC to hook up to the TV, some with lots of sales  I dismissed due to no warranty, WHY do people buy with no warranty ?

I would guess it is because they are either price-fixated, or know how to open the box and fix stuff themselves. Either way, why do you care?

To be fair, the warranty descriptions on Lazada make often no sense at all. There is somewhere a field for warranty and maybe it shows: No warranty. But then in the text there is something written about warranty. Or the other way around.

try wringing out the warranty claim from the seller when they're in China

yep, it's a classic scam for things under $50 - the seller will offer you a refund if you ship the product back to China, and the shipping will cost more than the product itself.

That's why you should buy from local sellers, and not the ones with "Pre-order, shipping in 15-20 days" items.
