Regular little snake in the grass arent ya?

Make me sick, these people are earning minimum wage and you come on here complaining about them to the boss. :o

How do you know they're earning minimum wage? Plus, the boss said they are paid until 11 pm... got any more nits to pick?

I'll never understand the enjoyment of someone whose idea of participation in a forum is to take the piss.

Yeh i got some more nit's to pick. Why don't you go with Greg to the shop and point these people out face-to-face? Sounds like a better idea than doing it behind the backs of the staff and then going in the next day and smiling to them.

Like i said, your a snake in the grass, the lowest of the low in my book, if there is one thing i can't stand is a grass. :D

so people who work minimum wage have the right to stop doing their job early? you sound like a fool.

How do you know that the staff member leaving did not have good reason to do so? How do you know they did not have permission from the manager to leave at 9pm?

For someone to come on the internet and start talking about 'there was a staff member leaving and it was only 9pm' tells me alot about the kind of person they are.

He should mind his own business and let others do the same.

The staff know that I am watching them, they've been told. Furthermore, all I said is that one staff member left at 9 - I didn't say he or she did or did not have permission. The only way you could possibly know that I am going in the next day and smiling to them is if you were one of the staff.

Every business owner wants to know when something needs fixing. How would you like it if your staff was doing stuff behind your back and no one told you about it?

Stop being such a smart@r$e.

Greg, if you want more details let me know and I'll give you a call.

Childish fights.

One thing is for sure, if one after the other start cleaning and closing down before the official clsoing time, the more people will stay away. It is a spiral that can only go downwards.

If i payed staff to work until 11 and they already start closing down one and a half hour sooner, they won't have to bother coming back next day.

The staff in fact, do know who you are.

I've gone a couple times and they were still open at 9:30 pm. even though the Chinese restaurant was closed.

Also have gone when it was 9:00 and seen not one order for us till they close, even though we ranked #1 in sales out of the other 14 restaurants in the Park Food Hal, So its not a lack of customers overall, its just dead for us after 9 pm. Still they do stay open.

As for pay, I'm positive they get paid higher than any other staff in the Food Hall. Just how I operate as I try to slow down retraining new staff every week.

LMAO. I wasn't joking... today I went, and they had just started packing up but were very friendly and gave me a very nice carne asada burrito, this was at 9:10.

The timing thing is not their fault. Today, EVERY shop was cleaning up at 9:10 - at 9:20 the service staff was already putting chairs on the tables. And when I mean cleaning, I don't mean starting to pack up - people at other shops were literally standing on the counters cleaning lampshades, others wiping glass, etc.

I came in as two farang were leaving and complained to the girl at the front of Food Hall that everyone was cleaning - needless to say I practically ran to the shop hoping they hadn't packed up yet (thank goodness, only the veggies and sauces had just been put in bags). Then I saw two more farang come in and walk around with a bemused look on their faces because NOTHING was open - only Sunrise and Fallabella had any food out.

I think you should complain to Food Park management. I already filled out a comment form but I don't think that will impress them nearly as much as a shop owner complaining that his customers are complaining.

I got my burrito, I'm happy - but there were a lot of other unhappy people in Food Hall, besides those who felt rushed to leave because chairs were going up. There is no sign indicating opening hours for Food Hall either - that's the very least the management should be expected to - either a sign saying "Open from 10 am - 9 pm" - or else forcing staff and tenants to remain open until the Emporium closes.

Thanks for stopping by.

Did you by chance go to school in the States?

Looks like I've made it... what a compliment :o I am not Thai but I guess I'm getting closer... you know me as the tire-kicker :D And yes, I went to USC. Is it any wonder I miss Mexican food?

Now they know how I like my food.. at least the boys do anyhow. My daughters are now hooked on the quesadillas, though we have to figure out a way to make it taste less salty - the seasoned beef is great and strongly flavored as it should be for tacos, but maybe I have to figure out what else I can put in the quesadilla that my girls will still eat... otherwise it's almost like spooning taco beef straight into one's mouth!

Maybe guacamole? Or is there something else besides cheese that normally goes in quesadillas that aren't veggies? Or would you recommend something other than the seasoned ground beef?

Salsa in, or on top of the quesadilla? Sounds ###### good to me - but will my kids eat it? Will your kids eat it?

Salsa inside the quesadillas is how most eat it. The #1 favorite of kids eating Mexican food is the quesadillas. Its just like pizza. As for my kids, they love quesadillas. In fact on the signboard at the Emporium. we have the statement " Kids love quesadillas"

Love your food, but who is the foul-tempered bird with the spotty face? Maybe I was a bit demanding when I asked for my burrito to be wrapped in foil, but I could see no other way of eating it.

When I go to Paragon with my Thai giks... oops! I mean chicks...

I've taken them to Sunrise; and all times, they liked it very much.

However, most of them were sent by their parents to go to school in the west as exchange students in the past, so that may have contributed to it. Dunno how the other Thai girls would like it. :o
