April 24, 20233 yr Does anyone know how to contact the UK pension people? I tried and got a number but it doesn't work. I used to get a letter, saying how much I had to pay, to my Thai address but haven't had one for a few years. Any contact number would be great. All I have is 0044 191 218 3600 Whenever I press the required button, it just cuts off. This is on my UK phone, and also from my Thai phone.
April 24, 20233 yr Just tried that number and selected "English" and went into a queue. No other options were given so seemed to work fine up to that point.

They ask me to press a number, and when using skype, it just goes dead. When using home(UK) phone, it goes quiet, after pressing number. Oh, in now, please hold, will let you know in 40 minutes! Tried 4 times but get the engaged tone , unreal. I can't pay as haven't had a letter for years. May just pay the same account what I think it is and hope for the best.

HMRC to deal with the payment, they'll give you an 18 digit reference number. It's much easier if you can get registered on the Government Gateway system as a lot of the information you need is shown on there.
