Residents of Soi Maha Sawat 21 in Nonthaburi Province have reported a string of copper cable thefts that have left the area in darkness.

Villagers say the cable has been stolen for three consecutive nights, causing an estimated 2 million baht ($62,800 USD) in damages, reported Daily News.

Authorities have been alerted and are investigating the thefts. CCTV footage shows a male suspect around 30 years old, wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.

He has been stealing the copper cables between 2-4 a.m. causing the villagers to worry about their safety.

One resident has urged the thief to stop and asked police to quickly catch the culprit and repair the damaged electricity.

That should narrow it down, have him in custody in no time ........LOL

Cu, imagine that.

A night patrol might not be a bad idea?

I see from the photo of the massed gathering of pointing experts, five out of six people are still suffering from the mask-wearing epidemic that exists almost nowhere else in the world.

One for TAT to publish perhaps, to inform visitors that the virus is still rampant in the country and masks are necessary.

When somebody stole mine I replaced it with aluminium not had a problem since.
