‘You Don’t Actually Have Any Facts’: Even Fox Isn’t Buying GOP’s Claims About Biden’s Foreign Business Dealings

House Republicans have been promising to expose President Joe Biden’s supposedly criminal business dealings with foreign entities for months.

 

But the biggest takeaway from Oversight Committee Chair James Comer’s (R-Ky.) much-hyped press conference on Wednesday revealing the GOP’s “findings” was just the opposite — they don’t have the goods.

 

What Republicans presented on “judgment day” was a memo outlining more than $10 million in payments received by members of the Biden family from foreign businesses between 2015-2017. But the findings lacked a crucial detail — concrete evidence linking Biden to the  dealings of his family members.

Classic.  If even Fox is criticizing Comer, it's clear he's got nothing.  The GOP has been trying their darndest to get Biden for SOMETHING.  Yet, they keep wasting taxpayer money on wild goose chases.  If they're serious about looking for corrupt foreign influence from a presidential administration, all they had to do is look into the Trump administration.  Tons of corrupt dealings there.

Well, when there's nothing to investigate all he's got is gum flappin' I guess. Lots of pro trump posters are oddly silent after having a bit of a glee fest in the "Is it Joe Bidens turn to face JAIL?" thread. Not gonna lie, I find that quite satisfying.

It seems they are unable to learn from experience.

 

How many times have we observed similar patterns? The Kraken and other election fraud lawsuits and audits, the GOP Senate investigation into Biden, the Durham probe, etc....they all failed to substantiate initial claims.

Well this is the GOP and they may have learned from past attacks, e.g., swift boat (took down John Kerry), Benghazi, e-mails (took down Hillary Clinton), etc.  The problem with going after Joe Biden is that the dude is squeaky clean.  I've read about a GOP operative who was frustrated with trying to find something on Biden.  He said "the problem with Joe Biden is that nobody hates him."

Post making claims of facts removed. There is an enormous difference between allegations and facts.
