SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - 9NEWS has confirmed through NBC News that John Mark Karr has been arrested and is being charged with two counts of domestic violence.

Georgia Police Spokesman Lt. Keith Zgonc tells NBC News that Karr was arrested as a result of an argument involving himself, his girlfriend and his father.

The guy's a total fruit cake. He's going to do something really bad one day soon and people will wish he'd been locked up sooner.

SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. --A judge ordered former JonBonet Ramsey suspect John Mark Karr released on bond Sunday for charges related to a domestic argument with his girlfriend and father.

A judge agreed to dismiss charges Friday against former JonBenet Ramsey suspect John Mark Karr involving a domestic dispute with his father and girlfriend if he gets counseling.

Fulton County Magistrate Judge Stephanie Davis said she would dismiss the misdemeanor charges of battery and obstruction of a 911 call if the 42-year-old Karr gets 24 weeks of domestic violence counseling.

Brooke Simmons said they discuss the Ramsey case, but she insists she doesn't want to know whether he had any involvement in the killing.

"I want to separate our relationship from that," she said. "I tell him I don't want to hear anything about it. But no, I don't believe he's a violent person."

OJ Simpson said being accused of double murder was like Spanish Fly. He said he was used to having a lot of attention from women but after being charged it was unbelievable.

A couple years ago I saw a news article on a study that was done about women who marry inmates. Shockingly it found that those women are likely to have emotional or mental problems (not because of the marriage, but pre-existing).
