โดยกฏหมายดังกล่าวมีชื่อว่า พระราชบัญญัติว่าด้วยการกระทำความผิดเกี่ยวกับคอมพิวเตอร์ พ.ศ. 2550

ซึ่งจะมีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 18 กรกฎาคม 2550 เป็นต้นไป

บริษัท ซีเอส ล็อกซอินโฟ จำกัด (มหาชน) จึงถือโอกาสนี้แนะนำให้ท่านสมาชิกผู้ใช้บริการ

ได้กรุณาศึกษาข้อกฏหมาย สิทธิ และหน้าที่ต่าง ๆ ที่กำหนดไว้ในพระราชบัญญัติดังกล่าว

ไม่มีผลบังคับใช้ และจะต้องยึดตามเงื่อนไขของกฏหมายที่ประกาศใช้ล่าสุด

ขณะนี้ บริษัทฯ กำลังจัดทำเอกสารแนะนำกฏหมายฉบับนี้เพื่อให้ง่ายต่อการทำความเข้าใจ

Here in Thailand, there will be new computer-related crime law, the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2550 (2007) which will come into force from 18 July 2007.

CSLOXINFO Plc. would like to suggest to our customers that they study the provisions concerning computer-related offences, authority and legal responsibilities of all Internet related parties on the Internet and general computer usage.

Should any current provisions of an Internet Service Provider, be found not to be compatible with the new Act, the Internet Service Provider will of course adjust the applicable terms and conditions.

Having made the law read by a Native thai speaker who happens to understand english very well, it's more about fighting real hacking or bad attempt at hacking inside "homes" than something to fishy about browsing the web for "Pr0n" whatever though it allows people to denounce each others on suspicion only.

It all depends how the law will be enforced (because right now a Thai people calling cops for a farang gives the latter little chance to defend himself, it's jail first discuss later
