A 50 billion baht overdue payment owed by the Bangkok local authority the (BMA to the BTS train Company will remain unresolved until a new government takes charge. Prime Minister Prayut expressed regret over the situation, adding that despite efforts, the problem could not be resolved. The BTS operator of the Green Line, anticipates receiving an initial payment of around 20 billion baht during the upcoming Bangkok Council meeting early next month.

 

Prime minister Prayut called for authorities to speed up their investigations into a student group that called for a referendum to establish an independent muslim state of patani in the far south. Their comments came after the air force was accused of failing to seek certification from South Korea to ensure the kits are compatible with the RTAF's aircraft. 

 

An Indian national was arrested at Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle approximately 200kg of animal parts from India into Thailand. The confiscated items included 60kg of cow hides and 140kg of pig's teeth found in the suspect's luggage.
