Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows the tobacco price of golden Virginia as I'm going UK for 3 weeks , and I want to take some back for family thanks in advance

Guess you'll have to wait until your in Duty Free at the airport.

I think it's around 1200 baht for a pack of five at Swampy. However, if you're staging through the Middle East it'll be cheaper.

Hi guys

Went through Bangkok BKK airport recently and they said they don't sell the single carton of GV anymore. So had to buy a wrapped two carton @ 2800 baht. 

I have the feeling that's not true, they had just ran out. They don't display  tabacco anymore, hide in a cupboard at the fringes.

The problem is, that's double the UK customs allowance.

In August(?) 2022 a box of ten 50g pouches cost B1950 in duty free at Suvarnabhumi airport.

 

 

I brought some amber leaf last week at the airport it was about 1300 baht for a box of 5 I wanted to get golden Virginia but they only had Boxes of 10 packets

This was Swampy last year.

Was about to buy some for a mate in AUS, however doubled checked the Australian Duty Free allowance and they've gone all anti smoking since 2017. Max allowance is 25 cigs or 25 grams. 

If you exceed your quota, current tax is AUS$1,893:57 per Kg, so $474 for 250g, or £245!
