Motorists are being advised to avoid the Victory Monument, Ratchadamnoen Nok and Sap roads in Bangkok today (Monday), as three groups continue their protest rallies.

 

According to the Metropolitan Police Bureau, members of the rehabilitation and development fund for farmers continue to protest in front of the Ministry of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives.  Their presence has prompted traffic police to close the parallel road in front of the ministry to all traffic.

 

Protesters from the Singing Artists for the People group plan to gather at the Victory Monument at 3pm and this will affect traffic flow in the area, while a third group has been rallying since 10am against the war in Ukraine in front of the Russian Embassy on Sap Road.
