The party reached the decision during a virtual meeting with their MPs to discuss the current political situation and its position on joining a government. The party claimed that United Thai Nation’s former core member, Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, and Palang Pracharath’s leader, Gen Prawit Wongsuwan, led the coup in 2014 and intended to remain in power long enough to pass the 2017 Constitution. Things are hotting up now with the senators under fire, if they get taken to court and suspended from politics for ten years what happens next? Do they replace them or scrap the constitution??
