BANGKOK, Aug 8 (TNA) – The Pheu Thai party is considering to find a suitable protest venue for the demonstrators for safety after chaos yesterday when Pheu Thai and Bhumjaithai parties held a press conference on the establishment of the new coalition.

Pheu Thai leader Cholnan Srikaew said the party must assess the situation to determine whether the crowd gathering outside the office could pose any potential threats, especially to media members.

A reporter was accidentally hit by a bottle of water in chaos in front of the Pheu Thai office during the protest by Thalu Wang group yesterday.

The party will consider precautionary measures and will find a venue for protesters to express their opinions.

- Cigna offers a range of visa-compliant plans that meet the minimum requirement of medical treatment, including COVID-19, up to THB 3m. For more information on all expat health insurance plans click here.

Will demonstrators need Entertainment license for that, or was this not an exact copy from some other country?

I would think that people protesting PT's betrayal, will consider such a suggestion as oil on the fire

Yes. Likely as far away from any future meetings as possible. They don't want to get their limos scratched.

The slow slide of PTP towards cynicism, corruption & electoral irrelevance is gathering pace.

Yes, I'm sure their main concern is the safety of journalists ????

Meanwhile, the protesters are looking for a suitable site for the Grave of Democracy, and to erect a stone tablet with the names of the 141 rats carved into it. The Roll of Shame.

Forget the thin smiles look at the fear in their eyes.. they know they've double crossed the voters.

Much like the faces at one of Putins pep talks. ☹️

Why politics are smiling all the time, is it a profesional desease?

PTP following the Democrats down the gentle slope to the swamp.

Very unhealthy down there. Won't last long. Like the Democrats they'll find it difficult to raise enough interest to hold a meeting ...

PTP will have to run the gauntlet with their unpopular decision in this difficult political situation. It is a 4 years political gamble whether they can bring democratic changes to the people starting with re-writing the charter and solving people's problems. They may go the Dem's way of decline or regain the support of the voters. MFP will likely to go from strength to strength if they are effective as the opposition. A new government has to formed after a extensive delay of more than 2 months. People well being are at stake and the economy can't afford to stall at this precarious moment.

Well, well, let me get the popcorn - the road show is getting ready and it will be more than nasty ????

It might also pay attention to the caretaker government's delay through the RTP NOT to comply with the Anti-torture and Enforced Disappearance Act of 1922, law announced in the Royal Gazette on October 24, 2022.

So I guess for now the "old rules" still prevail with RTP in dealing with public disturbances - rules an anti- democracy leadership might find effective to suppress freedom of speech.

They need to get this political mess sorted before tempers increase… it could get ugly

Dear pleb. We welcome you having comments and wanting to voice your opinion. Just do it over *there* and not *here*. Your kind understanding in the matter is appreciated.

Chickens coming home to roost pretty quickly. Will only get worse for PT .
