Ais playbox richmedia box

Featured Replies

Hi guys, so I have been given this android box by ais and it works pretty well. But when I run my wireguard VPN after about 20 minutes the box freezes and shows a message saying "for an ultimate entertainment experience. Please connect to AIS fibre internet"

And basically it blocks me from doing anything until I reboot and make sure the vpn is disabled.

Has anyone come across this? It feels like there is something tracking the IP and if its not Thailand then it blocks you.

Some ideas would be good. I tried blocking the ais play app but that didn't work.

Thanks

They only want you to use it to watch their shows. I gave up 5 years ago when I got messages only their content you cant add more.

Yeah they don't give boxes for free, just testing a workaround and looks like it's working so far. So basically I installed the apps (the ones i want to use vpn with) on my phone then setup the wireguard in the app to include only those apps which makes a split tunneling feature based on app name rather than IP. Exported then added the WG on TV box

So far so good. What they don't know doesn't hurt. :)
