Nonthaburi - Disturbing CCTV footage from three angles captured the moment a 14-year-old boy sprinted away from his father after being slapped and threatened with a knife, only to be struck by a car, resulting in injuries.

The incident involving Boy, 14, occurred at the Thammarat Junction on Tiwanon Road, Bang Mai Sub-district, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, reported 77kaoded.

Investigation revealed that Boy, who was wearing a green shirt, was riding a motorcycle with his sister, aged 6, and his friend, Mike, 16, as the driver. They were at a red light, when a stocky man, allegedly intoxicated, emerged from a vehicle and approached Boy.

Two more men and a woman in a red shirt joined in. Seizing hold of Boy, they endeavored to subdue him, prompting his attempt to evade by darting across the road, which tragically resulted in a collision with a sedan. The video footage starkly highlighted the presence of a knife wielded by one of the individuals.

In a revelation, Boy shared that a persistent clash between himself and Tey's boyfriend had brewed, a pivotal element that also drew Tey into the unfolding episode.

Well that story is clear as mud, I need a lay down, I got a headache from trying to read it.

That's terrible for the young lad. I hope the guy responsible is brought to justice.

The only thing that was reported from the six-year old was that Boy was being chased.

This has got to be in the running for the worst translation and the most poorly written article this year.

Asean Now did not write this article:

it doesn't matter how many times one tries to read and decipher this story,  it's still incoherent.

hope the 14yr old fully recovers and dad ( who sounds like an nut job )  gets hit by a number 9 bus some day.

We saw it on TV. The only clarification I can give it was not HIS father. Anyone elses guess?

I understand this and anybody who posts here for a while is (should be....) very aware of this but it should not stop people asking relevant questions - should it?

Possibly another poster may see the article elsewhere or on TV and understand enough Thai to be able to shed some light. I can see where the pictures possibly come from but there is no attribution to the article source.
