Fifteen police officers who were at the house of Praween Chanklai, aka “Kamnan Nok”, on the night of September 6, when a highway police officer was shot dead and another injured by one of Praween’s bodyguards, will face malfeasance charges in accordance with Section 157 of the Criminal Code.

 

Pol Lt-Gen Jirabhop Bhuridej, commissioner of the Central Investigation Bureau, told the media at a news conference today (Tuesday) that the 15 officers did not take any action to help the two victims or to arrest the gunman.

 

“You are a police officer and, when a crime is taking place, your job is to arrest the suspect unless there is an overriding emergency situation that requires your attention, such as helping someone injured during the commission of the criminal act,” said the CIB commissioner.

Standards, ethics, and morals don't pay for nice cars, houses, and mia noi's.

One wonders who will win the malfeasance in office 2023 award for outstanding work it literarily could be anyone ????

I think that many possibly thought they too would get shot if they helped in any way. Who knows???

Sounds good to me. No doubt if they are ever found guilty, after being out on bail during endless appeals, the penalty will be that they will be transferred.

I am no expert, but I would say they have very little to non of the qualities required for Law Enforcement
