Anybody who has lived here for a number of years will probably agree that Thailand in general has become a lawless dangerous country - especially in the last 10 years. The image of Thailand being a paradise belongs to the TAT's adverts only. Thailand - unfortunately - has become a sh!thole.

It has deteriorated yes, but I would say it is still fairly safe.... more so than where I came from, which seriously has crime issues now and ineffective policing. And they don't tell you the half of it to keep up the woke behaviour.
