Fire at Khlong Prem prison

A fire broke out at Khlong Prem central prison in Bangkok late last night, destroying three of the six buildings in the complex.

 

Reports from the emergency service say that the fire started at about 22.40pm in the fourth zone of the prison, which is used as the occupational centre for the inmates.

 

Several fire trucks attended the scene.

    Most likely yes. There was a police station in Nonthaburi that had a fire about 5 years ago. The officers ran out and let 4 prisoners inside choke to death on the smoke.

    Yes. Even though his 'Welcome to KP' BBQ went out of control. However, the drifting smoke preveted oxygen from reaching his fingertips so its back to the horrors of the Police Hospital for him....????

    Why? The fire broke out in the occupational center at 10.40 pm don't think inmates are just chilling out in there init.

    Ah, didn't see that part, perhaps not then unless smoke inhalation gets the better of them.
