A TikTok user, known as tncybss, was trapped in a bathroom for a staggering 13 hours, from 4pm until 11am the following day. Despite attempts to follow YouTube tutorials to free herself by removing the doorknob, she was unable to unlock the door and eventually had to resort to breaking through it.

The incident started at 4pm when the user found herself locked in the bathroom. She tried to mimic YouTube videos by removing the doorknob and attempting to unscrew a nut but was unsuccessful. Her father, who was outside, passed her a steel ruler to help. Despite removing the knob, she was still unable to unlock the door.

By morning, she began drilling into the door but without success. She then used a saw to cut around the lock, finally managing to open the door, reported Sanook.

The post generated a significant number of comments from curious netizens, questioning why she didn’t call for help and how she managed to get the tools inside the bathroom.

What a load of BS of an attention seeking numbnut.

Could have phone emergency services and would be out in no time.

Pathetic what people do for a bit of attention.

Saw in bathroom 555

If i was on the outside i would have kick that door down and fix it later rather than spend 13 hours in a bathroom, what a bunch dufuses...

Oh dear, what can the matter be. Some silly Thai girl locked in the lavatory.

She's been there from Friday til Saturday. Nobody knew she was there.

Poetic licence from my infant school days.

a drill ... a saw .... metal ruler ??    she keeps her tool shed in the bathroom ....

A great place to be locked up if you have diarrhoea.

Could not use the phone to call someone?

At a guess, this would define the typical TikTok user...

Charles Darwin had a theory.

TikTok is playing it out.

Over to the left, she would have seen some very nice 'hinges'. She would have only needed to pop the cap off the ends with the pliers (and hammer) and then use a slim screwdriver to force the pins out of each hinge. Someone on the other side would (probably) need to push the door open.

With such a useless father it's no wonder that this person ended up on TikTok.

She did. Her father was outside the door.

On the video it is clear that the sawing and drilling was done from outside.

Sounds like a staged tiktok post to me.

Seeing how this is posted in 'Bangkok News', I am assuming these are Thais, which does not surprise me.

All the more reason Thailand needs spend less time chasing fast-easy money, and stop to take a good long look at itself. But I think we'll be seeing the Easter Bunny appear long before that ever happens.

As another famous scholar once said, Thai Culture clearly proves Darwinian Theory.

From 4pm to 11am is 19 hours.

Intentional mistake, so that more people engage by commenting.

13 hours seems about right for a Thai person with the help of someone on the other side to figure out how exit a locked bathroom.

If my kid was locked in a bathroom Id probably kick the door down after 20 minutes.

Not me. You've got to give it at least another couple of hours because...well, you never know...
