In Bangkok, a commendable act of honesty unfolded when an 85-year-old man was reunited with his lost bag containing cash and five gold bars, valued nearly at 200,000 baht. The elderly gentleman had mistakenly left his belongings in a taxi after disembarking on Silom Road.

 

The incident came to light when a caller informed radio station Sawasdee FM91 about the misplaced items. The information was aired, seeking the taxi involved. Fortunately, the driver, who was listening to the broadcast, immediately reported that he had found the bag, reported Siam Rath.

 

The taxi driver's integrity shone through as he returned the bag to its owner at the radio station, with both station staff and the police as witnesses. The elderly man expressed profound gratitude, highlighting the driver's outstanding behavior.

 

The incident serves as a reminder of the goodness that exists in society, highlighting the role each individual plays in fostering a community bound by trust and integrity.
