Thailand's Prime Minister yesterday advised all thai workers in Israel to leave and asked families of workers to encourage them to return, saying the conflict would likely escalate which would obstruct evacuation…
However,  one man stayed behind to receive his final salary payment, he managed to return on a later flight.
 
The 10,000-baht digital currency handout will go ahead despite growing criticism, however the Deputy Finance Minister said the government has to be cautious to avoid any legal issues. He also admitted the government had yet to find a way to fund the scheme.

 

The government has instructed the The office for the  Eastern Economic Corridor and the State Railways to resolve disputes with a CP-led consortium over the high-speed railway project within this year.


the original contract was signed in October 2019. The delay was seen as being caused by the government’s failure to acquire land and make it available in time.


The  high-speed railway will link Don Mueang, Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi and -U-Tapao airport near Pattaya.
Construction will take 3 years and could be completed before the next election.

The Philippines summoned the Chinese ambassador yesterday over a collision between Chinese vessels and Philippine ships in the South China Sea, and said that it will not be deterred in defending its sovereignty claim in the disputed waterway.


The incident happened while Philippines was sending supplies to troops on an old World War II-era vessel stationed in part of the Spratly Islands in the South China Sea.
