Medical Insurance. How Much Does It Cost ?

Featured Replies

How much is medical insurance for a farang living in Thailand ? ive heard a figure of 3500 baht mentioned in a post somewhere. Does this sound about right ?

I am 36 years old and healthy, at the moment anyway.

Are there any websites where I can enter my details and get a quote ?

Cheers

This is covered extensively in the health forum, I will move the thread there but also please use the search function in the health forum section

one sponsor here gives quote on line

who ?

Great!

Whenever I wanted to give my business to a sponsor, I could not find them. Once I surfed around thinking their ad may come up.

Weeks of accommodation, rentacar and flights went to unrelated joints, easily found on the net. Easier than the very sponsors (unless they are there like a toilet paper just in time when you need them).

Johnson there's some info in the thread under this one on health insurance. Also, do a search in health as SBK suggested

how longs is a piece of string? As I guide:

For Thai coverage only, with perhaps a million baht maxium level of coverage, you are looking at in the region of 10K to 20K per year, for outpaitent only.

Where can I get a quote ?

If you send me the month and year you were born, I will send you a set of Health Insurance Plan Comparison Spreadsheets comparing every (non-life) health insurance plan in Thailand with your cost for each plan. (46 plans)

You can PM me. (Note to Samran: You mean inpatient, not outpatient)
