joongki1782 Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I'm an American in need to apply for ED visa to study Thai language in Bangkok for one year. From the search I ran, it seems that the document I need to take to Thai Embassy is the letter from the head of the school in Thai asking for my ED Visa? (along with application form and photos). I will need to go to one in DC. Did anyone had to pay the tuition up front for school to issue this letter? So then, when I get Non-Immigrant ED Visa for one year, enter Thai and leave country once every 90 days to get another 90 days of stay stamps? I'm very new to this, please help. Thanks. Steve
lopburi3 Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 I would expect at least a partial payment would be required as you must be accepted and approved for study. Believe you will be issued a single entry non Immigrant ED visa and after you are here several months you would extend your stay at Immigration using course transcripts and school paperwork for the remaining nine months of the year.
