A shooting incident occurred around 12:20 pm on November 1 at the traffic control center intersection near the Ratchada-Talat Phlu Police Station in the Thonburi district of Bangkok. An altercation reportedly began after a pickup truck collided with a motorcycle.

 

The injured person, identified as Kittisak Thamthorasuk, 33, who works in vehicle towing, sustained multiple gunshot wounds from a semi-automatic .38 caliber pistol. He was shot three times in the back and once in the left wrist, reported Daily News.

Despite his injuries, Kittisak remained conscious and communicative. He was promptly given first aid and transported to Somdet Phra Pin Klao Hospital.

 

Eyewitness, Nalongkorn Jeerasinwohan, recounted hearing about three to four gunshots and observed the assailant fleeing the scene on a motorcycle towards the BTS Talat Phlu station.

Another witness, Somboon Suan Somchin, mentioned past disputes involving the victim, suggesting a possible motive.

 

Local authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to identify the perpetrator and pursue legal action.
