webfact Posted November 8, 2023 Share Posted November 8, 2023 A student transport vehicle suffered a brake failure, lost control and overturned, causing severe injuries at a U-turn on the 201 road. The incident, which took place at 8.15am this morning, was reported by investigating officer Chanarong Krotha from Chum Phae Police Station. The vehicle was transporting students to a local college when it lost control and flipped at a U-turn on the Chum Phae-Phu Khiaw road near Nong Phon Thong village, Chaiyo district, Chum Phae, Khon Kaen province. Upon arriving at the scene, authorities found the six-wheeled Hino student transport vehicle, registration 86-1447 Khon Kaen, on its side with shattered windows. The inside seating area was damaged with scattered belongings.
