BANGKOK, Nov 14 (TNA) – The Thai Meteorological Department has announced that Thailand has entered the winter season.

 

The country officially transitioned into winter today (November 14). The minimum temperature in northern regions of Thailand is expected to drop below 23 degrees Celsius, classified as cool weather in many areas.

And today was the warmest I've experienced here in the Bangkok suburbs since the middle of October.

Daytime weather is still pretty warm though. Hit 34 today up here but it will get down to 21 at night

in canada, that is considered a warm day ideal for a barbecue. thais are going to be bundling up. i am not sure i would as resistant to the cold as i used to be. i used to be able to walk barefoot short distances in the snow...

Looks a cold gray winter day here in Jomtien. Of course looks can be deceiving.

Well I thought there was something different when the dogs started their "wake up Daddy" performance at 0600.

 

Couldn't put my finger on it then, but it is obvious now!

Up here in the northeast it was indeed a pleasant cool night.

Rain stopped a while ago and rice harvest in full swing.

 

Last week in Pattaya still some real hot humid days.

28 in Pattaya at 8.30.  It will be 33 by 2pm.
