23 Thai Nationals Expected to Be Freed by Hamas Following Iranian Brokerage

Hamas is likely to release 23 Thai hostages in a side agreement facilitated by Iran. This development was reported by Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, a London-based pan-Arab news outlet, which stated that Tehran played a crucial role in mediating between Hamas and Thailand.

In a devastating attack by Hamas on October 7 in southern Israel, around 1,200 people were killed, and approximately 240 were abducted, including Thai workers. The impending release of the Thai nationals is part of broader negotiations, distinct from the Qatar-mediated ceasefire set to commence between Israel and Hamas.

The ceasefire agreement anticipates the release of 50 hostages and 150 Palestinian prisoners, starting with the release of 13 women and children in exchange for Palestinians detained in Israeli prisons. This ceasefire is expected to bring a temporary halt to the ongoing intense conflict.

And yet, not a word of condemnation from the Thai government for the 32 Thais that got hacked and slaughtered and many others taken as hostages by the Hamas terrorist, Thai lives it seems, not worth standing up for...

  Thailand did condemn the attacks

https://www.thaipbsworld.com/srettha-condemns-inhumane-attacks-on-israel/

"Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin has condemned the attacks by the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas on Israel and ordered preparations for a possible evacuation of Thai workers in that country.

We strongly condemn this attack, which has tragically resulted in loss of innocent lives and injury to civilians. We are extremely concerned for the safety of all foreigners, including Thai nationals. "

Do people think "Well, that's nice of Hamas to co-operate" when taking innocent civilians like that is a criminal act barely short of murder, and for which every terrorist involved should die (including the negotiators) and hopefully soon will.

Let all hope for a for good outcome for these Hostages, and they are returned Home safely

Why isn't Srettha using his airmiles to flew to Qatar to negotiate the release of the Thais. It is hard to imagine they are of political value to Hamas but, sadly they are a low priority to Israel and the US which want to get their own citizens out first. I also can't understand why Hamas had to murder Thais who were just trying to earn money to support their families and have no special loyalty to Israel or its apartheid system.

I stand corrected...

Good that Iran is acting as a humanitarian and peace loving country.
