The Meteorological Department of Thailand (TMD) issued a heavy rainfall warning for 27 provinces, including Bangkok. The southern region is expected to receive significant rainfall, covering 80% of the area, which may lead to sudden flooding and runoff.

A high-pressure system from China is covering the northern region, the northeastern region, and the South China Sea. This system is bringing in moisture from the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, resulting in rainfall in the upper part of Thailand. Citizens in the upper part of Thailand are urged to take care of their health due to the changing weather conditions. Farmers are also advised to prepare for potential damage to agricultural products.

The northeastern monsoon, covering the Gulf of Thailand and the southern region, is moderate. This results in heavy rainfall in some areas of the lower southern region. Sea waves in the lower Gulf of Thailand are moderate with a height of about 2 metres. In areas with thunderstorms, the waves can be more than 2 metres high.

The upper Gulf of Thailand has waves of 1-2 metres high and in areas with thunderstorms, the waves can be more than 2 metres high. The Andaman Sea has waves of about 1 metre high, with waves of 1-2 metres high away from the coast. In areas with thunderstorms, the waves can be more than 2 metres high.
